Several years back while instructing in a prophetic conference a pastor offered me a word-of prophecy for myself. Although first his words, which I listened to carefully, made me quite thrilled, though I hesitated to believe what he stated was actually for me personally. You could have experience words spoken over you and pondered in your spirit if this was really what the Lord was declaring to you personally. The facinating part was what the Lord was going to do in my own life shortly, the clincher was I needed to decide right then to accept what he said or lose the prophecy to yet another. I choose to pray and ask G_d what He wanted me to do.
Occasionally when words are offered they will not be appropriate for that moment in time. Some doors usually are not intended to go through, but wait on Him to state when. This was what G_d told me, to pause, because it was not time to walk through that doorway. There have been several reasons that I could look on and see exactly what a catastrophe it could have been if I’d pursued that path by me. He has prepared me for the experience which the pastor advised me about those many years back. It might appear to many a small thing, however in my experience it really is amazing. To remain in His will and understand that I am protect from the adversary, delivers such joy.
Early in my own life I failed to walk with Him, those times were very worldly and that was before my becoming one of His. That’s why I thank Him for His grace through faith that He saved me. In Ephesians 2: 8-10, we observe how much we are loved by Him. What a PRESENT!!! Verse 10 He calls us His “workmanship“. In greek that word is poiema which means poem or song. Your life is a poem or song that is presented before Him. Some days I think about His forgiveness, that He forgave me, He remembers no more any of that worldly life that I had and now the song that is sung by the angels is a life of living for Him.
No matter where you are in your walk, He is ready to forgive your sins and bring you closer to Him.
Ephesians 2: 8-10 (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
